New Large Size Hydraulic Spring Applied Caliper Disc Brakes

Introducing the FS500 Series - FS500D, FS500SF, FS500S

The FS500 Series is our largest hydraulic spring applied caliper disc brake. The FS500 is capable of producing 7,769 lbs. of clamping force or 3,200 lbs. of tangential force.

Choose from; fixed mount Double Acting (FS500D) for fixed or float mounted brake discs; float mounted Single Acting (FS500SF) for fixed mounted brake discs; and fixed mount Single Acting (FS500S) for float mounted brake discs.

All brake styles can be mounted on brake discs ranging from a minimum 14 inch diameter to unlimited.

The FS500 release pressure rating is 1500 PSI.

There's good news for those customers who do not have hydraulic pressure source but require the braking torque of the FS500. Use an air pressure source and add a W.C. Branham 18:1 Air/Oil Intensifier. The release pressure rating of the FS500 with the Intensifier is only 85 psi.

The FS500 is available for brake disc thicknesses of 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4, 1 and 1-1/8 inches. Brake spacers can be easily created for other disc thicknesses.
